What should a personal trainer's website include?

Most personal trainers send people to a Linktree in their Instagram bio. It works, but it leaks clients: people tap through, can't find your prices, and message you "how much?" instead of booking. Here's what a trainer's website should include to fix that.

The short answer: one clear page that says who you help, shows your packages and prices, proves you get results and makes it easy to enquire or book. That's it. You don't need a big site.

1. Who you help, in one line

"Personal trainer" isn't enough. "Strength training for busy mums in Newcastle" or "online coaching for first-time powerlifters" tells the right person they're in the right place within a few seconds.

2. Your packages and prices

This is the one most trainers leave off, and it's the one people want most. Showing prices, or at least a "from" price, filters out people who were never going to buy and saves you a lot of back-and-forth in your DMs.

3. Real results

Before-and-after photos (with permission), short quotes from real clients with their first name, and what they achieved. Real and specific beats polished and vague.

4. A little about you

A good photo, your qualifications and why you train people. Keep it short. Clients want to know you're qualified and that they'll like working with you.

5. An enquiry form that qualifies leads

Ask a few quick questions: their goal, when they can train, in person or online, and roughly what budget they have. You get fewer time-wasters, and you can reply with the right package straight away.

6. Your booking link

If you use a booking app, link to it clearly so people can book a consult without messaging you first.

7. Made for phones

Almost everyone will arrive from Instagram on their phone. Big buttons, fast loading and no tiny text. If it doesn't work on a phone, it doesn't work.

Do you need more than one page?

Usually not. One well-built page that replaces your Linktree is enough for most trainers and coaches. You can always add pages for programs, a blog or a shop later.

We build exactly this for trainers: one page with your packages, prices, results and an enquiry form, live in 7 days for $1,200. See how it works.
